A level results 2018: LSU results continue to rise, bucking the national trend

We are proud and delighted to be able to share with you the successes of our Year 13 students.

La Sainte Union Sixth Form students have achieved an excellent set of A level results.

  • 50% of all grades A*-B
  • 80% of all grades A*-C
  • 98% of all grades A*-E

This year, students and teachers faced the particular challenge of reformed A levels, with no past papers available. These results are a credit to the expertise of our staff and the work ethic of our students. Most of our sixth formers go on to university and some go on to prestigious apprenticeships. Many students are celebrating obtaining a string of A grades. A special well done to Helen Sutton who achieved 4 A* grades in maths, further maths, chemistry and physics. She is going on to study engineering at the university of Cambridge.

We're thrilled that the destination courses at university are many and varied for our students. The more popular courses include Law (nine students), Nursing (eight students), Economics (seven students) and History (six students).

Congratulations to all our students on such wonderful results. We wish you all the best for a bright future!
